Well hello there babes!
I always wanted to have a youtube channel and that dream became a reality today. I was literally shaking and screaming with excitement when I pressed the publish button on my first video. I actually had my youtube account since 2012, so I always had an idea of doing this in the back of my mind, but I never was able to make it into reality.
Anyways , I just wanted to take a moment to announce the official launch of Saffron on Rose on Youtube! Yay!
So please take this time to enjoy yourself, grab some snacks, your favorite drink, and snuggle up on the couch. And then, click on the video to watch my Cape Town Travel Vlog and start getting ideas to plan your next travel destination ; ) hehe!.
I would also appreciate it if you could give me a thumbs up and subscribe. I am new to youtube and I am still learning the ropes so I would LOVE to connect with you. Please comment your youtube link and I will return comments/ subscribes.
I strongly believe that the blogging community is about empowering one another and not competing. There is room for all of us to be successful and in this together. It pains me to see people getting aggressive and trying to get ahead. The point of my blog, channel, and social medias is to share a piece of my world with you and connect with amazing individuals like you – and hopefully inspire you with my content in some way!
Thanks for reading and also supporting me through this journey. It would not be possible with out you!
Have any of you been to South Africa or plan on going?! Whats your next top destination on the bucket list? As always, I would love to hear from you in the comments. Xoxo!
Love,
Alisha
Congrats! YouTube is such a great marketing tool and a lot of fun. I need to start using it more! South Africa looks stunning, great work for your first vlog. I have some travel videos on my account too / http://www.youtube.com/georgiamcgrath

Best wishes for your YouTube channel! Sometimes even the best descriptions and photos, do not capture the movement (and sounds) of a place/activity.
Making the jump to YouTube is a fantastic idea given it’s immense popularity. I wish you the best of luck!

Congratulations and good for you for tackling Youtube! It can definitely be intimidating to share a video. I subscribed and gave you a thumbs up! If you’re looking for other travel bloggers to connect with on Youtube, check out mine too :) https://www.youtube.com/user/alyssaacree
Oh yeaaaah congrats! Taking the time to put together your first video is so intimidating, but so rewarding. Will check it out when I have access to WiFi :)
Congratulations on starting your youtube channel. I find that I use youtube a lot when researching vacation ideas. South Africa is definitely very high on our bucket list. Will check out your Cape Town vlog for ideas :-)
Yay! I’m going to subscribe. I only have a few YouTubers I subscribed to and I definitely need to up my game. It’s the perfect medium for travel and Capa Town is so beautiful.
What a great trip. It is so beautiful there. It looks a bit like California. The view blow me away. I recently listened to a podcast on Cape Town which piqued my interest but seeing on Youtube is the best.
Good luck with all things youtube! What you said about the blogging community is so true- I think we all have the power to raise each other up; it really sucks when people get overly competitive.
Best of luck with everything!
The moment at the beginning of the video with your mom is so cute :). Congrats for starting your Youtube channel. I have yet to make the step. The best of luck!
Congratulations on your YouTube launch! I love what you said about us supporting and empowering each other. There is room for all of us to succeed in our own ways. You go, girl!
