Hi loves,
Through the madness of NYFW, Hotel Wales served as the perfect haven where I could just unwind, relax, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of NYC. Hotel Wales welcomed me in the most amazing way, with a private suite over looking the gorgeous Madison Avenue neighborhood of NYC right in the most desirable part of town – Upper East Side. I absolutely loved the suite – it had a decorative fireplace, a lovely king sized bed, sofas, complimentary Voss water bottles, and so much more! Keep reading!
Hotel Wales kindly provided me with some amazing meals as well. I enjoyed dining at Paola’s Restaurant and Sarabeth’s East. during my visit. The food at Paola’s restaurant has a unique Italian flavor. My friend and I had the tasting menu so we could get a bite of everything. My favorite definitely had to be the Trofie Genevosi – which was a pesto filled pasta dish. I seriously appreciated how they graciously accommodated my strictly vegetarian diet. I was having some serious food coma.
Sarabeth’s has locations all over the city and my friends were raving about it before I even got on my flight. To my surprise, there was a Sarabeths connected right to my hotel. Hotel Wales kindly arranged room service at my leisure, and I loved the avocado toast at Sarabeths East. It comes with creamy avocado on rustic bread and a dollop of burrata on top. Your taste buds will seriously be in heaven. They also have this amazing fruit juice made in house – called the Four Flowers Juice – and it is made of fresh orange, pineapple, banana, and pomegranate.
Okay enough about food – the service at Hotel Wales is what will keep me coming back for more. They literally treated me like a queen and always attended to my requests promptly. The service made my stay so convenient and I felt so at home. The special touches like treating me to bottles of wine, delivering all my NYFW packages to my room, and calling my suite to double check if I needed anything – truly made a difference.
From the complimentary coffee bar 24 hours a day to the spacious closets that fit all my NYFW accessories, Hotel Wales exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and service.
I also loved the rustic vibes of the room. As a fashion blogger, I always notice the details and I felt like Hotel Wales perfectly mastered those in every corner. Since I was running around NYC with barely any sleep, and constant work, it was important to have a comfortable bed. The king sized bed at Hotel Wales definitely did not disappoint and allowed me to stay refreshed even though my mornings were so rushed.
Even though I did not have a lot of time to explore the hotel since I was always on the go, the staff made sure my time at Hotel Wales was quite a memorable experience. When I am in NYC, I will definitely be returning. I recommend you also stay here the next time you are looking for a quaint place in Manhattan.
A huge thank you to the entire team at Hotel Wales for being such wonderful hosts and making my time in NYC so special.
I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what your favorite place to stay in NYC is, in the comments below, xoxo!
Love,
Alisha
