During the week, I have back to back meetings, events, and places to be so dressing to impress is so important. I won’t lie that I do try every morning and don’t leave the house without a full face of make up. Crazy? No its not , its just called living in LA for you, lol.
However, I like to spend my weekends in more laid back looks – and focusing on quality vs quantity.
This past weekend I went back to the Bay Area to visit my family. I wanted to pack a few functional outfits but still make a statement since I knew we were going to go to San Francisco and a few other of my favorite Bay Area spots like Santana Row!
One of the dresses I packed for the trip is this one. This little black dress is so on trend right now. It is flattering and is the perfect length to show off your legs! Its also so wonderful because of the off the shoulder look. This is so in style right now babes – its a must have for summer.

I admit that I own a few of their pieces because they are just so adorable and fun to wear. I love their fabrics and clean cuts that make outfits look so chic.
I paired this dress with a pair of Aldo Shoes. Aldo is my go to for cute shoes that don’t break the budget. After all, I cannot invest in Gucci slippers every season ;). I like matching my shoes to my outfits, and in this case, creating a pop of color that contrasts just so well. These yellow heels just scream a good time.
I also opted for a fun pair of sunnies. These are from a vintage boutique and I bought them while visiting Oregon last year. The name of the exact boutique is called Billy Goat Vintage – tell them I sent you! They have some of the best accessories :)
Lastly babes, I went for Sole Society bag because I needed something great to pack up my weekend essentials.
I had a lovely weekend in the Bay Area visiting my parents and my adorable puppy Aliya :) She is two years old and the light of my life!
I am also very close to my parents so seeing them is always a good time even though we can sometimes agree to disagree LOL <3 love them.
