Hi Lovelies!

If you have been following along on Snapchat and Instagram, you know that I have just wrapped up an exciting trip to Portugal. I cannot wait to tell you guys all the details of the trip and know you will be enticed to visit this phenomenal country soon.

We had such an amazing stay in Portugal and thanks to the TAP Air Portugal‘s Stopover program, we were able to enjoy the best of Lisbon.

I know you are all wondering about the details of the TAP‘s stopover program. I briefly talked about it on Instagram but now I will give you the entire scoop here.

This stopover is TAP Air Portugal’s unique opportunity that allows travelers to visit two places for the price of one. You can do this on a long-haul flight (round trip or one way) or if the final destination of your trip is Algarve, Madeira, or Azores.

As a stopover traveler, you get exclusive perks and are able to spend up to five nights in Lisbon or Porto.

The TAP stopover program is also great because it allows you to take advantage of more special offers and even exclusive discounts when you book a hotel.

The best part of the Tap Air Portugal stopover program is that Lisbon or Porto can be the bridge to your final destination. You can make the most of your travels and explore all that Portugal has to offer.

Its super easy to book a Portugal Stopover. You need to make sure that the Stopover program is available first. Then you can customize the Stopover. You can choose between Lisbon or Porto and whether your stopover will be during the outbound or return flight of your trip and you can also choose the number of nights. Lastly, you get to select your hotel and you even get 10 percent off if you book through booking.com. All you have to do is choose your hotel and you will also get a free experience when booking your flight. Super easy process and so worth it too!

Lisbon is an energizing and colorful city that I truly adore. I know you guys will love it too!

The TAP Air Portugal stopover program gave us a unique experience in Lisbon. Starting from the positive travel experience to exploring the new city, everything was beyond our expectations.

We flew business class on TAP Portugal which is an experience I can never forget.

The business class on TAP is top notch with their full flat seats. The hospitality on the flight was remarkable and we felt like we were being treated like queens. We also enjoyed the scrumptious food on the flight and were impressed by the vegetarian options. The tomato soup, fresh pasta, and cheese and jam for dessert made me so happy. I was also able to relax on the flight and get a good night’s rest. It didn’t even feel like I was on a plane! I highly recommend flying the Tap Air Portugal Airline because its high quality and will leave you so impressed with their professionalism.

I also wanted to share some of my favorite places in Portugal with you guys. I know many of you are avid travelers, and that’s why I wanted to make sure you include these on your list!

A little background on Lisbon –

Lisbon is the capital and the largest city in Portugal. It lies on the western Iberian Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean. Lisbon is a global city and has so much to offer. In fact, we are already planning a trip to go back because it was so hard to cover everything.

A few of my favorites in Lisbon include visiting the Castle de Sao George which is a beautiful Moorish castle that occupies a commanding hilltop overlooking Lisbon and the Tejo River. This is one of the greatest tourist attractions of Lisbon and serves as a huge historical point for the Portuguese people. The castle is truly astounding and it’s a great place to go for your Instagram shots!

Another top attraction we visited in Lisbon had to be the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon. It was so amazing because of its unique paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages to the 19th Century. The museum also highlights famous Portuguese artists like Jorge Afonso, Frei Carlos, and Francisco Henriques. If you are into history and art, this is a must visit too!

I also strongly recommend staying at the Hotel Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa. It is located in the lovely neighborhood of San Antonio in Lisbon and its only 14 miles from Sintra and 15 miles from Cascais. San Antonio is a super appealing area if you want to explore historical monuments, friendly locals, and majestic architecture.  We spent a lot of time in our hotel because it had plenty of delicious dining options and even a relaxing spa.  It’s also a great place to get those Instagram photos. They have such pretty decorations and flower arrangements that you will love. Also, the views from the top floor are absolutely stunning.

We absolutely enjoyed eating Portuguese food. I am sure you all know that I am a huge foodie already, so this is not a surprise!

We ate dinner mostly at the hotel which was super awesome but one night we went to Mercado Simply Portuguese Restaurant. I highly recommend Mercado for traditional Portuguese cuisine. So yummy! I am craving it right now. We ordered a tasty vegetarian pasta dish with vegetables and a hearty soup. We had a traditional Portuguese dessert made with almonds and eggs. This was a mouthwatering pastry.

That’s it babes! We had a short but sweet trip to Portugal, all thanks to Tap Air Portugal stopover program.  I hope to come back again and visit. There are so many charming things about this country that I fell in love with.

Have any of you visited Portugal or are you planning to?

I sure hope I convinced you after this post!
